Often, the way we communicate is just as, if not even more important than our experience, work ethic or character. It can be the deciding factor in getting that job you want so badly; it can help you smooth out a sticky situation with a colleague, advisor or boss.
**COMMUNICATION SKILLS ARE KEY TO ACHIEVING OUR GOALS–whether academically, professionally or personally.**
In this workshop, we’ll tap into our confidence, make sure that we give ourselves credit where it’s due, and no longer undersell our capacities as qualified young women in academia or in the workforce. We’ll look at tools for presenting our authentic selves with confidence, in writing and in person.
Join us on Wednesday, July 24th at 18:30 for an hour-long workshop with Shira Richman @ the Learning Lab Lernraum organized by the SHEer Power Community. All are welcome to stay afterward to talk and ask questions. Refreshments will be provided!
