On April 18th, the next Future Talk will take place on the topic “Bike, Bahn, Beamen: How do we shape future mobility?” will be held at the Nuremberg Museum of the Future.

That’s why startups are developing new forms of mobility: emission-free, young, innovative. Colorful mobility fantasies are emerging and everything seems conceivable. The new website of the Office for Civic Participation and Volunteering is available to everyone who is looking for voluntary work in Erlangen.
In the “Engagementfinder” you can use various filters to search for a suitable volunteer position in Erlangen. Short-term, project-related commitments or daily assignments can also be found there. Contact forms make it easier for you to get directly to the clubs and organizations that still need helping hands. Anyone who needs help with their search or has general questions about volunteering can also use the volunteer counseling (also in English, French, Turkish and Arabic). Dear Students,
we would like to draw your attention to our exciting seminars offered in the summer semester. Our seminars for FAU’s “Intercultural Competence” certificate are geared toward dedicated and critical students like you who are interested in enhancing their skills and expanding their knowledge.
We offer a wide range of courses, including “Latin America ¿Adónde vas? Crisis, Globalization and Interculturality,” “Intercultural Project Management – Understand, Design, Implement,” “Intercultural Conflict Management: Theoretical and Practical Foundations,” “Intercultural Competence: Theoretical and Practical Foundations,” and “Are you crazy?” – International Workshop to address intercultural issues.
Our seminars provide an interactive learning environment where participants* can improve their skills through discussion, group work and case studies. We strongly believe that these courses will be of value to your personal and professional development.
In addition, we offer a certificate that participants can receive after successfully attending our seminars. This certificate can be a valuable addition to your resume, and you can demonstrate that you have furthered your education in this area.

ROCK YOUR LIFE! is an organization that has been advocating for more educational equity since 2009. We support young people from disadvantaged structures with our multi-award-winning mentoring program. The young people receive individual support from a volunteer over the course of a year. In terms of content, the aim is for the young people to learn to believe in themselves, to discover their strengths, talents and interests, and to develop a professional future together with their mentor. We also support the mentoring relationship with training, events and workshops. There are already around 40 locations in Germany that are run by volunteer students. In Nuremberg, too, we want to establish such a location, for which we are looking for motivated students who can support us on site to make more educational justice possible.
