ARENA… of the young arts has existed as an international theatre and performance festival in Erlangen since 1991. The student-organised festival sees itself as a platform for young, contemporary, interdisciplinary and experimental productions. Special attention is paid to projects that take place in public spaces rather than conventional theatre spaces. In 2025, the ARENA Festival will take place from 19-22 June under the motto KITSCH. Artists from all over the world are invited to explore the theme individually and creatively. Would you like to be part of the team? You don’t need any previous knowledge, just a love of art! A total of 20 teams have the chance to win the main prize: four Interrail tickets and a visit to one of our EELISA partner universities – whether you’re a quiz veteran or a beginner, there’s something for everyone! Are you a freshman and still getting to know people in Erlangen? Would you like to change that and enjoy a legendary weekend before the semester begins?
That’s why we, the university group ETG Kurzschluss, invite you to our Ersticamp (freshman camp) from October 11 to October 13, 2024!
Ersticamp is the perfect opportunity to meet fellow students from your course of study, get insider tips about studying at the Faculty of Engineering, and learn more about life in Erlangen.
Together with a group of freshmen, we’ll head to the CVJM Leisure Center in Münchsteinach for a fun-filled weekend just before lectures begin.
