As a study group, we want to celebrate Christmas together with you. Since God has come among us, we want to celebrate in the midst of our everyday life (that is, in the cafeteria). We are looking for supervisors for our major events (children’s carnival parade, Midsummer Night’s Dream, etc.), for holiday offers during the Pentecost and summer holidays and much more. Do you have basic knowledge of pedagogical dealings with children and young people, enjoy working with them, are flexible in terms of time during the Pentecost/summer holidays and reliability is not a foreign word for you?

During the Christmas season from 2.12. – 19.12. 2024, you will see Christmas trees decorated with colorful cards at 12 different locations in Erlangen and at FAU. On these cards are wishes from people who really need something. The gift tags can be “picked”, the gifts bought and wrapped and handed in at four different locations. You can find the trees in the University Library, the canteens and the arcades. The Christmastree campaign supports 12 social organizations in Erlangen such as the Erlangen Tafel, the AWO refugee advice service, the Erlanger Obdachlosenhilfe e.V., the children’s group of the Frauenhaus or the Bahnhofsmission. The patron of the campaign is the President of FAU, Prof. Dr. Joachim Hornegger.
