During the Christmas season from 2.12. – 19.12. 2024, you will see Christmas trees decorated with colorful cards at 12 different locations in Erlangen and at FAU. On these cards are wishes from people who really need something. The gift tags can be “picked”, the gifts bought and wrapped and handed in at four different locations. You can find the trees in the University Library, the canteens and the arcades. The Christmastree campaign supports 12 social organizations in Erlangen such as the Erlangen Tafel, the AWO refugee advice service, the Erlanger Obdachlosenhilfe e.V., the children’s group of the Frauenhaus or the Bahnhofsmission. The patron of the campaign is the President of FAU, Prof. Dr. Joachim Hornegger.
