Fast Forward Science Special Prize Energy

For the first time, we are awarding the Special Energy Prize!
Our energy supply is changing rapidly – but how can we make the energy transition understandable and tangible? This is exactly where the Special Energy Prize comes in.

We are looking for creative, scientifically sound multimedia contributions about energy, the sustainable use of resources and the transformation of our energy system. Whether video, podcast, social media campaign or interactive application – everything is allowed as long as it is available online.

💡 The goal:
The MVV Stiftung Zukunft is sponsoring this prize to raise awareness of renewable energies and make the opportunities of the energy transition visible. Show why a sustainable energy future is not only necessary, but also full of opportunities – for society, the economy and the environment!

Here’s what you can win:
🥇 €2,000 for first place
🥈 €1,000 for second place

Who can take part?
Researchers, students, creators – whether alone or in a team. The only exception: contributions from media companies are excluded.

📅 This is how you take part:
Your contribution was published after March 14, 2024 and is freely accessible online. Apply by April 30, 2025 at www.fastforwardscience.de.
Bonus points for accessible content!

💡 Even more chances to win prizes!
In addition to the special energy prize, you can still apply for the other Fast Forward Science awards. You can win up to €2,000 per award!

📌 Submission deadline for all categories: April 30, 2025!

Echt oder Fake

If you’ve always wanted to win huge amounts of noodles, mate or muesli (or if you just want to have a fun evening), then come to H11 in Cauerstr. 11 on the evening of 8 May and try to expose your lecturers during their real or fake lectures. ‘Echt oder Fake’ is the perfect mix of science slam and lecture theatre quiz that you really don’t want to miss!
The whole thing is organised by the FSV-Nat, but students from all faculties are welcome. Admission is from 6pm, group size is about 3-6 people and snacks and drinks will be available. The first lecture starts at 6.30 pm. We look forward to seeing you there!
