BioNTech Vaccination Appointments 27.01.2022

Dear students,

after the last two vaccination campaigns in December and January in the castle in Erlangen, the third campaign starts this week for the first time in Nuremberg.

For this, on Thursday, January 27th from 12:00 to 18:00 in the former Mensa Insel Schütt in Nuremberg (Andreij-Sacharow-Platz 1, 90403 Nuremberg) – 1000 vaccine doses with the BioNTech and 1000 doses of the Moderna vaccine are ready. Booster vaccinations will be given starting 3 months after the second vaccination. The vaccination campaign is aimed at students and employees of FAU. Registered participants* may bring up to 6 dependents each.

By popular demand, this time we will also offer the special children’s vaccine from Pfizer-Biontech for the age group 5-12 years (limited contingent).

BioNTech Vaccination Appointments 17.01.2022

Given the raging success of and overwhelmingly positive feedback in regards to the university’s first round of covid vaccinations on the 15th of December, a second such event has been organised! 1000 appointments will be made available via StudOn in the coming days. Both Moderna and BioNTech will be on offer. Given the limited number of doses, the aforementioned offer can unfortunately only be extended to members of the Friedrich-Alexander University and up to 5 relatives or friends.

When: 17th of January, 10am till 6pm

BioNTech vaccination offer for students on 15th December 2021 in Erlangen

Dear students,

we are happy to inform you that the first vaccination event can now be held.

Here is the info for it:

Registration for the time slots via StudOn [1].

 

Bring ID or passport as well as vaccination card and health insurance card. Bring the printed and completed COVID-19 vaccination information sheet and medical history and consent form from the RKI. [1]

Booster vaccination possible no earlier than 5 months (does not have to fit to the day) after the last COVID-19 vaccination. Vaccine of the last COVID-19 vaccination: does not matter

Currently we still have 88 spots available for Wednesday! Register quickly via StudOn and take advantage of the vaccination offer!

If the date on Wednesday is fully booked, we will try to organize a 2nd date (about 200 vaccinations) the day after.

VACCINATION OFFER FOR STUDENTS IN HIRSCHAID

** UPDATE 02.12.21 – Given the current lack of available Comirnaty (Biontech / Pfizer) doses, an inoculation with the aforementioned vaccine cannot be guaranteed. Please note that the STIKO exclusively recommends Comirnaty for individuals, under 30 years of age, as of the time of writing.

Currently, we are engaged in organising a vaccination centre in Erlangen. Further infos will be posted here ASAP or per our Instagram page!

According to our information, the vaccination possibilities in the vaccination center Erlangen are currently scarce and there are also hardly any possibilities to get an appointment this year – not even for “boosters”.

“Students like vaccinations”- Therefore, we as student representatives in cooperation with the FAU would like to offer you an alternative (uncomplicated) vaccination offer:

Dr. Weghorn supported us in July by offering a similar vaccination and now offers his help again. He still has sufficient capacity and vaccine available.

Invitation to the meeting of the student convention on 28th November 2021

Dear members of the student convention, dear interested parties,

we cordially invite you to attend the next meeting of the 2021/22 Student Convention this coming Sunday: 28th November 2021 at 6:00 pm.

The meeting will be held online via Zoom.

We are also again looking for 3 to 4 volunteer minute takers for the meeting. Please send feedback directly to Lou or Lasvini.

All reports from AKs, Referaten, FSVen and other committees (Sprat, Senat, Krisenstab etc.) please send in advance until 27th November to the Convention.

 @Convention members: If you are unable to attend the meeting, please remember to send your vote in time by e-mail and, if possible, to sign out early before the meeting.
