Network Meetings
Content networking
(At least) since the winter semester 2013/14, FSV Nat has been organising a content-related networking meeting for the FSIs of the Faculty of Natural Sciences once or twice a year. As the name suggests, this meeting serves the exchange of information.
The FSIs introduce themselves to each other in short lectures, so that other FSIs can look at concepts and ideas and possibly establish them themselves. Afterwards there are thematic tables where members from different FSIs brood over problems and ideas that could affect all FSIs of NatFak or where they can talk about FSI work in detail.
After a breather the results of the thematic tables are presented and if necessary discussed, so that also people who were not directly involved in the thematic table can have their say.
The networking meeting is concluded with a flexible evening programme, depending on what the participants* want to do, but in any case relaxed.
Until 2016, warm food (chili, curry, stew, barbecue, etc.) was served before the final presentation and snacks were available throughout the event. In 2017 it was decided to offer more substantial food (sandwiches) during the whole event and to include the warm food in the evening program.
Summer semester 2017
After the change to alternating a fun and a content-related networking meeting (see below), the sixth content-related networking meeting of NatFak will take place on Saturday, 06.05.2017, from 12.30 pm in the Foyer of the Physikum/Biologikum. Here you will find all information you need to participate.
schedule
As mentioned above, we have slightly changed the concept of previous years, the previous schedule is as follows:
12.30 – 13.00 hours | arrival |
13.00 – 14.30 hours | lectures |
14.30 – 15.00 hours | Break with lunch snack (sandwiches) |
15.00 – 17.00 hours | thematic tables |
17.00 – 17.15 hours | Fill in the list of nominations for the 2017 university elections |
17.15 – 18.30 hours | review & short discussion |
from 6.30pm | evening program with barbecue and beer |
This schedule may still change if a particularly large number of lectures and only a few thematic tables are desired or vice versa. Don’t be shy if you don’t have the whole day, we are also happy to welcome people who are willing to network and don’t have time for theme tables or barbecues. 🙂
