Mamma Mia, Super Trouper and Dancing Queen. Who doesn’t know them? The super hits of the legendary Swedish cult band ABBA, named after the first letters of the first names of its four members Agnetha, Björn, Benny and Anni-Frid. They formed in 1972 and two years later they won the Grand Prix d’ Eurovision de la Chanson, now known as the Eurovision Song Contest, with Waterloo. They went on to compose one hit song after another.
The Nuremberg Symphony Orchestra is reviving this incredible success story and dedicating a big show to ABBA on November 11th – with four top voices and arrangements in a big symphonic sound, styled by cross-over professional Thomas Dorsch, who also conducts himself. Look forward to a great evening with bell-bottom alarm and the immortal ABBA songs.
Vocals: Kira Wolf, Kai Podack, Marco Matias, Yvette Keijzers
