FAU for Peace

Together with the university administration, we are organizing a gathering for peace on Wednesday, March 16, at 5 p.m. on the Liegewiese in the Erlangen Schlossgarten (in front of the equestrian monument).

Together we will make a statement for peace.

We are looking forward to your participation!

Demonstration by students: #Standwithukraine

The current events in Ukraine seem incomprehensible and leave us speechless. To counteract this powerlessness, we are setting a sign against injustice from here. A sign for humanity and for the cohesion of our democracy. To this end, we will meet on Friday at 5 p.m. at Schlossplatz to commemorate the victims of violence.

In addition to our Ukrainian speaker and pro-Ukrainian Russian speaker, we are very happy about the support of Prof. Heiner Bielefeldt from the Chair of Human Rights at FAU.

STAND UP and let’s set a common sign, STAND UP for democracy and cohesion….

…… within our country
…… in Europe
…… all over the world

because violence and hate is NEVER a solution!!!

Sprat wants *YOU*

We are still looking for two more members for the Stuve Spokesperson’s Council (Sprat for short). We work closely together in a group of 8 Spratis on a weekly basis to advocate for the interests of students on a wide variety of topics, and we are also the top point of contact here. This includes meetings with the university management, cooperation with other committees, a lot of mail traffic, press releases, and, and, and.

You don’t have to be a member of the Convention or one of the FSVs. We are looking forward to all interested people who have already worked in a FSI or a working group and got interested in more participation at the university.

You are welcome to join our meeting on 28.02. at 7 pm, where we will welcome our newest Sprat member Christina. Feel free to contact us by email without obligation if you are in any way interested. We will be happy to answer any questions and tell you more about our work – whether by mail, at a meeting, or at a separate meeting.

We are looking forward to meeting you! 😊
