Sprat wants *YOU*

We are still looking for two more members for the Stuve Spokesperson’s Council (Sprat for short). We work closely together in a group of 8 Spratis on a weekly basis to advocate for the interests of students on a wide variety of topics, and we are also the top point of contact here. This includes meetings with the university management, cooperation with other committees, a lot of mail traffic, press releases, and, and, and.

You don’t have to be a member of the Convention or one of the FSVs. We are looking forward to all interested people who have already worked in a FSI or a working group and got interested in more participation at the university.

You are welcome to join our meeting on 28.02. at 7 pm, where we will welcome our newest Sprat member Christina. Feel free to contact us by email without obligation if you are in any way interested. We will be happy to answer any questions and tell you more about our work – whether by mail, at a meeting, or at a separate meeting.

We are looking forward to meeting you! 😊

Program of events for International Women’s Day on March 8, 2022 in Erlangen

The Equality Office of the City of Erlangen cordially invites you to the Erlangen events on the occasion of International Women’s Day on March 8!

On this day, women and people in solidarity publicly stand up for more gender justice. In doing so, they criticize unequal treatment and structures of discrimination against women and queers and call for equality policy changes. And they celebrate the achievements of women’s movements.

Therefore, groups, institutions and committed people have planned a variety of actions and events this year.

You can find the program in the flyer.

Youth Talks Biodiversity: How does the world talk about biodiversity?

You are interested in biodiversity and want to advocate for its conservation, but wonder what are the political approaches to do so? Or you just want to learn more about global biodiversity policy and get in touch with peers? Then register for our next event in the series “Youth Talks Biodiversity”.
Together with Christian Schwarzer (co-founder of the Global Youth Biodiversity Network GYBN) we will address the following questions this time:
  • What exactly is the CBD?
  • How does its implementation work?
  • What is currently happening in the negotiations and what new goals is the global community setting for itself?
As in previous events, there will be the opportunity to network and actively participate in breakout groups.
When? On Thursday, February 24 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Where? Online at Zoom (you’ll be sent the link after registering just before the event).
