Staff councilors from the Gewerkschaft Erziehung und Wissenschaft inform:

What really endangers getting your civil servant status and what doesn’t? What are you allowed to do later as a civil servant and what not? How can you assert your rights in your job as civil servant ?
Our staff councilors Ruth and Flori will answer all your questions about getting into civil service, civil service law, staff representation and rights in the teaching profession.

The event starts in the Zeichensaal St. Paul on 22.6. at 6:00 p.m.

The event is aimed at students of teaching who like to become civil servants.

24 July – 4 August 2023, FAU will host the Summer School “Democracy Building in Times of War” in close cooperation with the leading Ukrainian university – Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University.

If you are interested in the topic and would like to deepen your knowledge, take part in the KNU-FAU Summer School where you will:
🔎 broaden your knowledge on such topics as democratization, rule of law, human rights protection, and civil society development in times of war
💬 take part in interdisciplinary scientific dialogue with experts from Germany and Ukraine (academics, politicians, human rights defenders, and representatives of NGOs)
👫 work in small groups with students from Ukraine and other European universities
📝 carry out original scientific research in groups with further publishing the best ones
🏛️ participate in guided tours, including the Memorium Nuremberg Trials and the Germanisches National Museum

The university group “Bread&Butter” is organising a Super Smash Ultimate tournament on 18.06 at the Zett9 in Fürth. Open for all hobby gamers, newcomers in the tournament scene and everyone who enjoys playing Smash. We attach great importance to the fact that, despite the tournament mode, all participants leave with a smile and enjoy a day full of Smash.
