The Young Scientist Award

Submit your submission for the Young Scientist Award and win up to € 3,000!
Are Social media and science the perfect match for you? Then we have an exciting opportunity for you: Fast Forward Science, the multimedia competition for science, has entered its 10th round of competition! We are calling for Science Content on Social Media to be submitted to us. You have until February 7, 2023, to upload your entry to www.fastforwardscience.de and, with a little luck, win one of our prizes. We would be happy if you forward this message to interested people from your networks.
In the main contest, videos can be submitted on all social media platforms, for example, YouTube videos, TikToks or Insta Stories. Our insider tip: The Young Scientist Award, which is explicitly aimed at students, doctoral students and postdocs (up to six years after their doctorate). Winners can look forward to prize money totalling €6,000.
The Young Scientist Award is aimed at future actors in science who want to bring their research to as many people as possible. Whether you are new to the social media world or have already made twenty videos, it is important that you explain your own work in an exciting way and convincingly explain why your research is relevant to tomorrow’s society. The partner of the Young Scientist Award is the German Future Prize. Winners of the Young Scientist Award will be involved in the activities of the Deutscher Zukunftspreis in addition to winning the award.
Last year @diewissenschaftlerin, @janinaexplainsitall and @sheliumscience convinced the jury. On our website, you can check out which videos landed them on the winner’s podium of the Young Scientist Award.
And if everything is already clear to you: Grab your camera or cell phone and surprise us with creative ideas and exciting contributions. What is wanted is what inspires you, us and your followers. There is only one thing left to do: SUBMIT. We are looking forward to your contributions!
Greetings and good luck from the Fast Forward Science Team
