Paid job shadowing opportunities in federal agencies for individuals with migration biographies

As part of the model project “Diversity in Office – ViA”, the Deutschlandstiftung Integration is offering three-month paid job shadowing opportunities in federal authorities starting in April 2023.
For the project “Diversity in the Office – ViA”, the Deutschlandstiftung Integration is looking for several interns for job shadowing opportunities
– the Federal Foreign Office (AA),
– the Federal Ministry of Education and Research
– the Federal Ministry of Finance (BMF),
– the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth (BMFSFJ),
– and more
at the locations Berlin, Cologne/Bonn and Frankfurt (full-time)
During the internship, interns will gain a wide-ranging insight into the day-to-day work of the highest federal authority four days a week. In addition, they are involved in scientific project support one day per week. The aim of this is to use focus groups and seminars, among other things, to gather findings that will help initiate sustainable change processes and develop practical
recommendations for the federal authorities. In this way, the project is intended to provide new impetus for an intercultural opening of the civil service and, in the long term, to increase the representation of persons with a migration biography in the senior and higher civil service.

We look forward to receiving your applications via the ViA application portal. The deadline for applications is January 31, 2023.
